For any family entering the judicial environment the journey can be daunting at best, personally trying at most. In January 2006, my wife and I needed to obtain the services of an attorney highly experienced in the specialized and unique aspects of wills/trusts, guardianship, and probate law. We needed this level of legal experience because we were beginning to address estate planning as it related to our "special needs" son, and planning for his care after we both were no longer around to attend to his supervision and needs.
The legal journey was arduous. During the period January 2006 through June 2007, we completed three (3) trusts - A/B trusts that roll over into a Special Need Trust, two (2) wills, and one guardianship petition.
